Are you looking for a LiteSpeed web hosting service to host your sites? The LiteSpeed Web Server places a premium on speed and flexibility. You can also use it to replace the Apache and NGINX web servers.
They founded it in 2002. According to w3techs.com, LS uses 12% of all servers. NGINX is the most popular server; it is used by at least 33% of all web servers. Also, Apache used 30%, but LiteSpeed is one of the fastest-growing servers nowadays.
|LiteSpeed Cloud Partners||Technology Partners|
|DigitalOcean||cPanel and InterWorx Control Panel|
|Jelastic||Atomicorp ( A Linux server protection)|
|Amazon Web Services||CloudLinux|
LiteSpeed has cache modules and plugins if you use their servers. Users can also quickly enable cache plugins on the most popular CMSs, such as:
LiteSpeed Hosting Performance
Suppose you’re looking at the LiteSpeed Hosting Solution, some say lightspeed hosting, which many hosting providers in this industry use. LiteSpeed web server hosting is a typical search query because it is a pretty modern web server and an alternative to other servers.
Performance and the free LiteSpeed cache plugin are multiple massive benefits. LiteSpeed and OpenLiteSpeed have developed security features that don’t require many settings, such as DDOS protection.
You don’t have to pay extra to use the QUIC.cloud CDN for free dynamic content caching. There are numerous others.
This list is based on my personal experience and reviews like Trustpilot, so I don’t know about other hosting providers’ experiences with LS. In my opinion, I appreciate Litespeed technology because server-lever caching and its features impressed me.
LiteSpeed Web Server Hosting: 10 Best Providers
After the release of OpenLiteSpeed, the open-source version, in 2015, LiteSpeed started to grow in popularity. Soon after releasing the LiteSpeed cache plugin, WordPress users began to use it broadly.
That is why most popular hosting companies didn’t use Litespeed servers because they were launched earlier in 2015. Their caching tools are entirely built on Apache or Nginx. Therefore, moving LiteSpeed to those hosting companies is not a simple task.
Now let’s look at some LiteSpeed Web Hosting companies and their benefits, pricing, and other services.
HostArmada is a new hosting company that is rapidly growing. They use KVM virtualization to handle cloud-based servers. They give you flexible hosting options such as shared, VPS, reseller, and dedicated that offer performance, reliability, and security.
LiteSpeed was included in the Speed Reaper plan, while others used NGINX. HostArmada has plans for all web applications, including WordPress, Magento, Drupal, Joomla, Laravel, and PHP. They have perfect plans for all the platforms.
So this article is about LiteSpeed; we need to skip the rest and focus on their LiteSpeed features. LiteSpeed powers the Speed Reaper plan, which includes multiple caching solutions. That offers the most able to fulfill all of the web hosting requirements.
Speed Reaper provides 6 GB of RAM, ideal for high-traffic websites, but there is a monthly limit of 120 000 unique visitors. This plan is good even if you use heavy plugins and page builders like Elementor because those plugins use a lot of server resources.
Precisely what sort of customer service does HostArmada provide? If you have any questions or need assistance, you can contact them via phone, chat, or their ticketing method. Also, they offer a 45-day money-back guarantee for all packages.
Beyond various partners, the pricing for this plan is fantastic. But the regular price is $20.95 per month, but you can save money by signing a long-term commitment for under $5. Read WPJohnny’s HostArmada review for additional facts.

NameHero is an excellent choice if you want a faster LiteSpeed web hosting service. And, to be honest, you’ll have to check NameHero because they deploy LiteSpeed, letting you use the QUIC CDN with the LiteSpeed Cache.
Their security controls deploy machine learning to prevent attacks before they harm websites. It uses Security Shield to protect them from DDoS and other threats. They offer a malware scanning add-on, but you will have to pay extra.
NameHero utilizes NVMe technology for their Turbo Cloud and Business Cloud, but Plus Cloud and Starter Cloud power on SSD. Ryan, the CEO of NameHero, has a YouTube channel with more information and guidance on their services and Litespeed.
Call support, live chat, and email support are available from NameHero. Although their customer service is faultless and quick to respond, some customers may leave negative feedback, which is fair considering the price.
They provide a starter plan with 1 GB of RAM and one core, which is attractive because others do not do so at that price. That package does not include a free domain. NameHero’s plans include increased CPU and RAM but keeping lower costs.
The disadvantage of NameHero is that it only has US and Netherlands data centers. No Asian data centers are available. Furthermore, the basic plan includes higher renewal fees and does not include a monthly schedule.

Krystal is a UK-based company that increases website speed by using SSDs and LiteSpeed web servers. Its mix of Litespeed servers with NVMe helps improve your site’s speed. Krystal promises a 99.99 percent uptime guarantee.
Krystal Hosting’s support has an excellent Trustpilot rating. I believe it is fair to state that Krystal is well-liked by its consumers; indeed, there is some poor feedback. However, Really don’t believe that any service can keep everyone happy all the time.
Nevertheless, data centers are limited, as there are none in Asia. Because it is located in the United Kingdom, its focus is on Europe. Krystal is an excellent alternative if you need functional and dependable cloud-based hosting services.
Unlike most other web hosting providers, Krystal does not pull you in with a special offer price for the long term. This means no high renewal fee for the second. The rates displayed prominently on their website are the costs you will spend.
It currently has a data center in the United States. More extensive plans with more NVMe storage and server resources are also available from Krystal, which is essential for huge websites with heavy traffic.
When it comes to server resources, the greater the package you get in terms of resources; Amethyst has 1 GB of RAM and 1 CPU, Ruby has 2 GB of RAM and 2 CPU, Sapphire has 3 GB of RAM and 3 CPU, and Diamond has 4 GB of RAM and 4 CPU.
Krystal LiteSpeed Hosting Features
- Unmetered bandwidth, MySQL, Mail, Subdomain
- Full mod_rewrite and Cron jobs
- A 60-day money-back guarantee.
- Horde, Roundcube, and SquirrelMail webmail.

|5. Offsite backups are performed on a daily basis.|
5. A2 Hosting LiteSpeed
According to w3techs.com, A2 Hosting manages 0.6 percent of all websites as a web hosting provider. A2’s time to first byte (TTFB) is better than other hosting companies. Only the Turbo Boost and Turbo Max plans use A2 Hosting LiteSpeed.
A2 Hosting and others have identical pricing, but NameHero and HostArmada offer higher CPU and RAM than A2 Hosting. There are many bad reviews on support and uptime issues. That means they’re considering giving a 99.9% uptime.
Their startup plan is cheap, but high renewals mean if you need to get a discount, you have to choose long-term plans like 12 months or 36 months, but after renewals, you need to pay maybe double or possibly more.
A2 offers shared and managed hosting services at different prices. However, managed hosting is more expensive than shared hosting and provides more server resources. Also, the NVMe drive does not power all plans.
A point of interest from A2 is that you can choose manual-server locations; A2 has data centers in Asia in Singapore, the US, and Europe. Keep in mind that your visitors will have a better user experience from the closest data center.
A2 Hosting LiteSpeed Features
- Latest MySQL or MariaDB
- Server Rewind Backup
- Pre-configurable caching layers
- Multiple PHP versions
- DDoS, firewall, and scan options
- Unlimited email accounts
- Unlimited parked and subdomains
- Cron Optimization
- Expires Headers
- Gzip Compression
- Storage and bandwidth are both unlimited.

|2. 30-day Money-Back Guarantee is risk-free.||2. NVMe and LiteSpeed aren’t available to all.|
|3. For the price, you get a cheap, simple cPanel and a fast TTFB.||3. No free domain|
|4. Support is available via live chat, email, and phone.||4. The uptime history has a lot of maintenance.|
|5. A2 has global data centers|
Chemicloud is a modern hosting company that provides the most impressive solutions with hosting power from Litespeed servers. They have multiple server locations in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
It would benefit from a high-performance platform with minimal latency and instant access. Chemicloud has good support; you can check Trustpilot and see their grades. When you buy any web hosting package, they’ll migrate your site for free.
They offer a 45-day money-back guarantee. However, there are some limits, such as SSD Storage and Appropriate Monthly Visits. Additionally, only the turbo plan full capability hosting plan with enhanced security features and cache layers is offered.
Chemicloud has three WordPress and shared hosting plans: Starter, Pro, and Turbo, all based on Litespeed servers. Starter with 1GB of RAM and 1 CPU core, Pro with 2GB of RAM and 2 cores, and Turbo with 3GB of RAM and 3 cores.
However, Chemicloud pricing is cheap only for a long-term contract. If you choose, the monthly plan price is so high. Also, if you pick a long-term plan at an affordable cost, the renewal price will be increased. Look at that pricing structure in this image.
Chemicloud LiteSpeed Features
- Free Daily Backups
- Several server locations
- Advanced Firewall Protection
- Daily backups for up to 30 days
- Free Website Transfer
- Free SSL certificates
- Support is available 24/7

|3. You can create unlimited email accounts.||3. Their first plan is cheap, but their renewal rates are high.|
|4. There are more than 11 global data centers.||4. In comparison to some, the price is high.|
|5. Cloud-based hosting environments|
Its LiteSpeed webserver, which is included with all plans, is the most essential feature of KnownHost. Knownhost provides WordPress, VPS, Reseller, Dedicated, and Cloud servers. They use virtualization to host on a cloud-based service.
They are expensive, considering their competition to KnownHost. So it offers the same or better services and costs less. KnownHost offers the storage limitations of every web host. You’ll only get 5GB for their starter package, which is a massive letdown.
Another instance where KnownHost has lowered resource limits is email. With the basic plan, you can only have five email accounts. Even the lowest hosting package from another provider will allow you to create unlimited email addresses.
Knownhost has some cons because it only has 03 data centers; US and Netherlands, but no Asia data center. Knownhost will not provide you with a free domain. KnownHost only saves daily backups for two days; it lacks features compared to the others.
Knownhost LiteSpeed Features
- cPanel access
- Patchman security
- SSH, SFTP, and FTPS access
- HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 protocols
- Free Website Migrations
- Cloud Storage and Unmetered Bandwidth
- Multiple PHP Versions for your application
- DDoS Protection
- Imunify360 plugin on cPanel

|3. Free automatic backups for everyone||3. The email limitations are poor.|
|4. DDoS protection with fair security features.||4. In comparison to their resources, the price is high.|
|5. Excellent uptime stat||5. There are just three data centers.|
WPX, like Kinsta and WPengine, is a premium managed WordPress hosting provider that uses LiteSpeed Server. Ensures your web server and caching procedure will be lightning fast. WPX also has the best average response times (TTFB), which is positive.
WPX has excellent customer service, as seen by their 4.9/5 Trustpilot score. You can contact someone via live chat or by submitting a support ticket. The level of satisfaction with their online chat account is satisfactory.
WPX Hosting provides a free site migration option if you already have a website. Emails are included in all WPX Hosting solutions. They offer both a live chat service and ticketing. WPX XDN (CDN) is provided to all WPX users, whatever their plan.
If your site is attacked, they provide free malware removal. WPX has only three data centers: Chicago, London, and Sydney. This is a severe disadvantage.
The location of your data center to site users has a significant impact on TTFB. WPX’s pricing is reasonable compared with other managed hosting companies because you can have five websites hosted on their first plan for 25 dollars.
WPX LiteSpeed Features
- Unlimited Databases & phpMyAdmin Access
- Unlimited Email Boxes
- HTTP/3 Enabled Servers
- Free Malware Removal
- Free Website Performance Optimization.
- Multi-User Access
- Automatic Backups
- DDoS Protection
|1. You get free CDN available in 26 locations.||1. WPX has only three data centers.|
|2. The industry’s fastest TTFB||2. The control panel lacks features.|
|3. Within 30 days of purchase, you can get your money back.||3. Minimal server resources.|
|4. Managed WP hosting environment.||4. Also had some issues with uptime.|
|5. WPX has an excellent support rating.|
Hostinger’s services are not something I would recommend. However, they use LiteSpeed servers, but their TTFB and uptime are weak. According to the report w3techs.com, Hostinger is operated as a hosting provider for 1.3% of the entire website.
The first plan allows you to host one website and one email account. Hostinger’s server resources are limited, and the basic plan does not provide at least 1 GB of RAM. Automatic backups are also available only on the most expensive plan.
Hostinger is not a cheap solution because if you choose a business plan for one month, you will need to pay almost 17 dollars, but you’re only getting RAM of 1536 MB. That is not suitable for at least a low-traffic website.
The Pro plan includes the most features and excellent resources, but it is costly compared to the alternative. Hostinger has seven different places where you can host your website the U.k., the U.s., Brazil, the Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, and Lithuania.
The uptime of Hostinger struggled, and lousy feedback was received about their downtime. SSL certificates are included with the service. You can use the latest version of PHP as well as 2FA. Nevertheless, SSH is not included in the basic package.
Renewal prices on Hostinger can be up to 300 percent more than discount prices. If you purchase a $5 plan with a discount, the renewal could be $10 or $15. If you buy for a more extended period of 24 months, the prices are crazily low but risky.
Hostinger LiteSpeed Hosting Features
- Free Migration
- Protection Against DDoS
- Free Dedicated IP for Pro Plan
- Automatic App Updates
- PHP Customization
- Git integration
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- SSH Access
- Cloudflare CDN for higher plans.
|1. A free domain for long-term contracts.||1. Poor TTFB and uptime stats.|
|2. Hostinger has multiple data centers.||2. Renewal prices can be surprising.|
|3. Easy control panel||3. In comparison to most others, the server resources are limited.|
|4. Development Tool for WordPress||4. Backups are only available on the costly contract.|
|5. FTP, cronjobs, databases, and bandwidth are all unlimited.|
10. Guru (UK)
Guru is a cloud-based hosting provider based in the United Kingdom. Guru provides shared, reseller, and VPS solutions, all LiteSpeed-based. I have no experience with Guru, but I have heard many positive things about their services.
I also heard about Guru’s excellent customer service, available via ticket, live chat, and phone. The average uptime is 99.99 percent, which is perfect. Some outages have been, but it is generally only a few minutes long.
The email feature for shared hosting requires an email add-on at an extra cost. Guru, like Cloudways, operates monthly with no long-term contracts, but it does charge a 20% VAT, similar to Krystal.
They use NVMe drives, cPanel, and CloudLinux and regularly provide off-site backups. Your subscription can be upgraded or downgraded at any time. PCI-Compliant, Secure Caged, WAF, Automated malware scanning, and Free HTTPS are security features.
There are three shared options: a 1 GB core and RAM (Shared Basic), BOOST has two cores, and Shared PRO has four cores. In addition, you’ll get 100 GB of disk space, 1 TB of bandwidth, unlimited MySQL, and the ability to host unlimited domains.
Guru Hosting Includes
- 100GB Disk space
- PCI Scan Ready
- Custom error pages
- Secure FTP
- Web Application Firewall
|1. There are no high renewal fees.||1. No multiple data centers|
|2. Automatic virus scanning||2. Limited Packages|
|3. Upgrade your plan with only one click||3. No free Emails|
|4. Guru support is excellent.||4. 20% VAT|
|5. TTFB and Uptime are decent.|
LiteSpeed Cache Plugin Overview
Many people use WordPress to get their websites up and running. In my opinion, there is no perfect free caching and optimization plugin for WordPress. If you want the best results, you should upgrade to a paid plugin such as WP Rocket, Perfmatters, Asset CleanUp, Flyingpress, or another paid version plugin.
I only revealed a free plugin, the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin, which works flawlessly with WordPress optimization and caching. Litespeed uses server caching, so you can reach multiple significant improvements to your website via server-level caching.
This plugin has an image optimization option; You can optimize images while keeping backups using lossless optimization. You can also select to use the WebP versions. You can use the lazy image to speed up page loading and decrease the number of HTTP requests. It can significantly increase the pager’s speed score.
The LiteSpeed database optimization feature can remove every trashed post and web page, post revisions, pingbacks, spam, and criticized responses. Additionally, clean transient response, as well as others.
